Where a school falls within a scheduled touring area, a vetted professional cast performs at your school. We arrive with our own staging and sound, run the assembly end to end, and leave the venue as we found it.
Schools outside the current touring areas receive the full performance script and staging notes, so learners and educators can stage the show themselves, with the same supporting material.
Each visit is accompanied by lesson plans, worksheets and assembly scripts mapped to the CAPS Life Skills curriculum (Grades R to 6), issued free and yours to keep.
Pupils take on term-long civic challenges (empathy, safety, litter, water) and record their progress against schools across the country.
Every pupil receives a Good Citizens Passport in which they collect proof of living out each lesson, and earns a pin to wear on their school uniform for every circle completed.
A country is shaped less by its institutions than by the daily conduct of the people inside them. When a young person understands that their character holds weight, even unobserved, they stop waiting for change and begin to represent it.
Our work is grounded in the principle of Ubuntu: a person is a person through other people. We translate that principle into a structured, year-long journey that a school can run without additional cost, admin or specialist training.
The result is measurable, observable behaviour change, the kind school leadership can point to, and the kind a community can feel.
Responsibility begins with the self and widens outward. Each school term concentrates on a single circle, so that by year-end every learner has completed the full progression. Select a circle to read the detail.
We own our actions. Every choice leaves a mark, and no decision is neutral.
Extended in every direction: to ourselves, to each other, to shared property and to the planet.
Doing what is right when it is difficult, and when no one is watching.
Optimism converted into action. Intention is only worth what it produces.
We support your educators rather than adding to their workload. Good Citizens meets Department of Basic Education Life Skills requirements through professional theatre, without a minute of additional admin or a rand of cost to the school.
Every script, worksheet and teacher guide is mapped to the CAPS Life Skills curriculum (Grades R to 6), covering civic responsibility, personal health, peer respect, anti-bullying and environmental care.
Our production team manages the full assembly from arrival to departure. Terms without a live visit are covered by the Digital Hub, with ready-to-deploy material.
Every actor, technician and facilitator is cleared against the National Register for Sex Offenders and the Child Protection Register. Our platforms are POPIA-compliant and capture no personal data on minors.
The Digital Hub is optimised for entry-level smartphones and low bandwidth, with printed alternatives for schools without reliable connectivity.
Each pupil is issued a Good Citizens Passport to record proof of the lessons they have lived out, and is awarded a uniform pin for every circle completed. Recognition your learners can wear, and a visible marker of your school's participation.
Production, materials and event costs are covered in full by our corporate social investment partners. Your school contributes assembly time and nothing else.
Schools film their own school chant and submit it to a national school spirit competition. It gives learners a stage, and it gives the programme momentum between visits.
Prizes are funded by our partners and awarded as school infrastructure: sports facilities, computer equipment and classroom resources.
Any South African school can use the Hub, whether or not we have visited. Everything is free to download, and we will post printed copies where our distribution reaches you.
Send us a single email with your school's name, province and approximate learner numbers. We will respond with available dates and the material your teachers can start using immediately.
